Sometimes it's just very hard not to stress out.. But it's true. It makes things much worse.

Good thoughts. We are in a time when we feel guilty if we're not doing what other people are doing (the super-mom complex, etc.) but basically one ends up doing what is right by their own definition. I've spent a lot of time involved in social media during the past three months, which could be perceived by some as wasted time, but my goal was to learn about social media as a marketing vehicle as well as using the web to find new ideas and connect with others. Personally, I'm a big fan of the daily "to-do" list, as well as written goals. 43 Things is a good site for the latter.

It is important to understand your goals for spending time on any activity. I recommend watching this classic Steven Covey video "Big Rocks - Put First Things First", a clever reminder of watching out for our priorities.

Thank you, Barbara, for commenting. I would love to know more about how you progress. I absolutely agree with the way you're moving. It's much easier to achieve when you're moving from a state of abundance than a state of lack. Choices from a state of lack will tend to keep a person stuck or moving in circles. It's so much easier the way we're doing it. All my best to you.
